--~-- MSC Cruises had their fifth cruise ship return to service when MSC Splendida began offering seven night cruises from Trieste, Italy. Splendida‘s roundtrip itinerary include Ancona, Italy; Dubrovnik, Croatia; Bari, Italy; the Greek island of Corfu; and Kotor, Montenegro or Split, Croatia. The itinerary is perfect for passengers from throughout the Schengen area of Europe, especially Germany, Austria, and Switzerland given the ease of ground transportation available from those countries to Trieste. Four daily transfer shuttles for MSC guests will run from Venice’s Marco Polo airport and one from the city center to the cruise terminal in Trieste. It costs 25 euros per person one-way. MSC Splendida offers a wide choice of restaurants, bars and lounges, four swimming pools, a fully-equipped gym and luxurious spa, award-winning family activities and facilities as well as the MSC Yacht Club with 71 spacious suites and personalised 24/7 butler service. MSC Splendida is sailing from Trieste. MSC Grandiosa and MSC Seaside are sailing in the West Mediterranean, MSC Orchestra is operating in the East Mediterranean and MSC Virtuosa is cruising in the UK for British guests only. MSC Magnifica will resume sailings on June 20, 2021 from Italy for voyages in the East Mediterranean, MSC Seaview will restart on July 3 from Kiel in Germany for sailings in the Baltic Sea to Sweden and Estonia followed by MSC Seashore making her maiden sailing from the end of July in the West Mediterranean. MSC Divina is scheduled to start from Port Canaveral in September, MSC Cruises will sail a simulated cruise on MSC Meraviglia on July 17 and the cruise ship will start offering cruises out of Miami on August 2. The vessel will sail three and four night cruises for the first month before starting week long sailings on September 18.
