The morning started with total chaos outside the port — taxis, tour operators and crowds everywhere — but once we found our guide, the day turned into one of the best of the cruise....so far! Our first stop was a local souvenir shop before heading straight to the zipline park, where we tackled 7 or 8 very high ziplines through the jungle. After the adrenaline rush, we explored the small zoo and had the chance to meet a three‑toed sloth and take photos with it. Very cute. From there, we crossed to the other side of the island for our private snorkelling tour. It was just the two of us in the boat, and our guide Elvis took us to some of the best underwater spots in Roatán. He even dove down to bring shells and other treasures up for us. One of our GoPros unfortunately took on water and died, but we managed to save some of the footage. Back at the port, Roatán was buzzing. Music, bars, shops and a resort‑like atmosphere right at the pier. After returning to the ship, we enjoyed a fantastic Tropical Night dinner in Bubbles Restaurant, followed by another brilliant show in the Panorama Theatre: Queen with backing from the London Philharmonic Orchestra. Now there's something you don't see every day. A lively tropical deck party rounded out the night before we finished with our usual gin bar stop and headed to bed ready for Costa Maya in the morning.
