Muir Woods San Francisco is a top place to visit near SF for a cruise day, a day trip or an outing with family. Muir Woods San Francisco has hiking trails and a beautiful glimpse at the coastal redwoods that are only known to this area. Muir Woods San Francisco is easy to access by bike, car, bus, or ferry and public transport. Check the website for information about reserving Muir Wood parking and the Muir Wood Shuttle. It is open during COVID, but the shuttle has not been operating. The gift shop is open as well as the cafe with a limited menu and limited seating. Muir Woods is a must see for a different type of excursion other than an urban experience. There are many tour operators doing tours to Muir Woods and it can be a fun day for the whole family.
