At the beginning of 2023, my father fell critically ill. I cancelled several cruises to be by his side in his last days and to be with my family as we later would lay him to rest. Can I return to cruising after his death? Would he want me to go on cruises? Can I allow myself to be happy again? These are the thoughts and the questions I have as I process the death of my father. I hope anyone who has lost a loved one and is considering going on a cruise, will understand they are not alone.
