Today we spent the day exploring Nassau, Bahamas on our cruise stop — even though the weather had other plans! With temperatures in the mid-60s, it was a little too chilly to enjoy one of my favorite things to do here… snorkeling. Instead, we made the most of our port day by walking around downtown Nassau and exploring the colorful Nassau Straw Market, checking out souvenirs and local vendors. After that, we hopped on a water taxi over to Atlantis Paradise Island, where we walked around the resort, grabbed a snack, and tried our luck in the casino. We also spent some time relaxing at the beach before catching the water taxi back to the cruise port. And of course, no port day is complete without a sweet treat — I finished the day with a scoop of rum raisin ice cream before heading back to the ship. Even without snorkeling, Nassau is always a fun stop!
