🤔💭 Feeling overwhelmed with the seemingly daunting task of getting your passport? It's actually a pretty simple process, believe it or not. Here are the basic steps: 🔹 Fill out your application online 🔹Schedule your appointment with your local post office (making sure it is one that does them) 🔹Bring your printed applications, birth certificates, and driver's licenses to your scheduled appointment. 🔹Get your photo taken (or provide one you have had taken where they take and print passport photos such as Walgreens) Review your application with the post office staff member, take your oath, and sign your application 🔹Pay for your passport (you are actually purchasing a cashiers check that gets sent with your application as well as your photo fees) 🔹Wait for your birth certificates to be sent back to you (usually takes about a week once the application is received a few days after submitting) 🔹Wait for your passport (current processing time without rush is about 6 to 8 weeks from the time they receive your application) 💸 It cost us about $512 for three passports and photos.
