New York City is a wonderful embarkation port for cruising! New York offers so much to do on both embarkation and debarkation. This was our first time to depart from Brooklyn and we really enjoyed the Dumbo (Down Under Manhattan Bridge Overpass) area for both sightseeing and great food. During the sail away we watched both the Manhattan and Brooklyn skylines, The Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and the Verrazano Narrows Bridge. We stayed at the Hampton Inn Downtown Brooklyn the night before our cruise and it was a great location for sightseeing. We ate New York Coal Fired Pizza at Juliana's Pizza under the Brooklyn Bridge Embarkation in Brooklyn is very fast and easy. We did not have to wait in any lines and walked right on the ship. Disembarkation was just as fast and easy. All pictures and videos in this video were taken by Jeff and Becky - no stock or third party material is used except for images of the maps, a picture of the merry go round, Time Out Cafe, and one of the Cruise Terminal.
