Join me and Laura as we enjoy an EPIC Day exploring New York City, USA! We start our day early at Starbucks to grab a coffee as we talk down sixth avenue nice and early at 7AM to avoid crowds. We got to see the window display at Macy's in detail without battling past people and some other wonderful storefronts on this famous avenue in the centre of Manhattan. Passing by Bryant Park we got to see some professional skaters practicing before the Ice Rink was open to the public too! The Rockefeller tree looked wonderful even in the morning day light, with thousands of coloured lights all over it just tinkling away. A great start to the morning, which continued with a nice hot chocolate from Ralph's Coffee truck outside the Saks building, opposite the magnificent St Patrick's Cathedral. Fore breakfast we head to Slate Cafe Midtown, which has a fantastic Gluten Free menu as well. I enjoyed a famous New York Bagel, stuffed with Bacon and Cheese as we watched the New York morning commute and traffic outside. After fueling up on some lovely food (we highly recommend Slate!) we head to Grand Central Station, heading inside to explore and also identify some scenes from famous movies like Batman and Spiderman. The biggest train station in the World did not disappoint and is just like what you see in the Movies and TV. Macy's on sixth avenue is next on our list, exploring the whole store and checking out the famous wooden escalators that are still in operation and were originally installed in the 1920's. The store was very large with a lot of choice but overall pricey and no discounts or bargains. We continue our day back on 6th avenue for the special 200 year anniversary celebration, with the street closed and various special mini events going on. We caught the coir singing on the stars of the New York Public Library and some cool street performers outside the Puma Store. We tried to have a look at the Christmas decor in the famous Peninsula Hotel but could not get in as it was already busy unfortunately. After a quick Pizza slice and picking up some sweets and candy from Myzel's Chocolate store, we head to the Neil Simon Theater to watch MJ The Musical, a fantastic Broadway show that has won 4 Tony Awards and a brilliant Tribute to Michael Jackson and his Music. We couldn't film any of the show but it was absolutely fantastic and worth every dollar! To complete another EPIC DAY in New York City, we head to Pier 83 to catch the Circle Line Boat Tour to see the sights of the city as NIGHT. This was the best time to do this Boat Tour in our opinion and the lights of the city did not disappoint, including a great close up view of the Statue of Liberty too! We finish off the vlog in the Hotel Room as i try out the Crumbl Cookies I bought the day before. ANOTHER AMAZING DAY IN NYC!
