Could these be some of the most beautiful cruise ports in the Norwegian Fjords? Join us aboard Fred. Olsen Bolette as we visit three very different Norwegian fjord ports. Åndalsnes, Ulvik and Bergen, each offering spectacular scenery and unforgettable experiences. In Åndalsnes, we take the Romsdal Gondola high into the mountains for breathtaking views across the fjords and surrounding peaks. After coffee and croissants at the top, we spend time exploring the scenic walking trails and viewing platforms. Next, we visit the beautiful tender port of Ulvik, one of the most picturesque locations we've ever experienced at ground level. From stunning fjord views and waterfront walks to local cider tasting and charming hotels, this peaceful village quickly became one of our favourite stops. Finally, we arrive in Bergen. As Norway's second-largest city, we expected a busy urban destination, but a trip on the famous Fløibanen funicular revealed a completely different side of Bergen. Pine forests, peaceful walking trails, beautiful lakes and incredible viewpoints made this one of the biggest surprises of the cruise. Back in the city centre, Bergen offers a completely different experience. The historic waterfront is lined with restaurants, cafés and bars, while the famous fish market is a great place to sample local food and soak up the atmosphere. The contrast between the bustling city below and the peaceful landscapes above made Bergen one of the most memorable ports of the entire cruise. Which port would be your favourite? 🚢 Fred.
