Is it worth tendering into Belize without a shore excursion? We take you along and show you what we discover close to the port. Come along with us for our cruise day in Belize aboard Caribbean Princess. We do not have an excursion planned, but we still decide to take the tender into Belize City for a short visit to the cruise port. After spending much of the morning onboard—while I gather footage for my Caribbean Princess ship tour and Melissa visits the gym—we enjoy coffee in the Piazza and lunch before making our way to the tender. We take you along for the tender ride from Caribbean Princess to the Belize City Cruise Port at Fort Street Tourism Village. Once ashore, we walk through the port area and discover something easy to do close to the cruise port—even without booking a Belize excursion. On the tender ride back, we head upstairs for a great view as Caribbean Princess comes into sight. Once onboard, we enjoy afternoon coffee and a snack from the International Café, walk the full Deck 7 promenade, get ready for dinner, listen to live music in the Piazza and attend an evening performance in the Princess Theater. We end the night on the upper decks beneath a clear sky, with the moon and the illuminated Sea Witch above Caribbean Princess. In the next video, we arrive at Mahogany Bay in Roatán—and this port turns out to be quite different from our short visit to Belize. Thank you for cruising along with us! Tour the Ships.
