Join us on Day 3 of our Majestic Princess cruise as we enjoy a relaxing "Ship Day" day in Costa Maya, complete with Salty Dog Café lunch, SeaWalk views, pool time, and a fun evening of entertainment. Welcome back to our six‑day cruise aboard the beautiful Majestic Princess! Today is Day 3, and although it’s our first stop in Costa Maya, Mexico, we decided to stay onboard and enjoy a quieter, more peaceful ship experience. The morning started off perfectly—I headed out to pick up breakfast for both of us and brought it back to the stateroom so Jayne could enjoy breakfast in bed. We spent a lovely, relaxing start to the day together before heading out to explore the ship. With most passengers ashore, the decks were calm and open—ideal for wandering, relaxing, and reminiscing. We settled into a cozy spot at the aft of the ship with a cocktail in hand, sharing stories from past adventures, including the unforgettable (and slightly comical ) moment's involving Jayne's travel "mis-adventures". From our seats, we enjoyed a beautiful view of the ocean and even spotted the MSC World America docked nearby. Lunch came next—a classic pool‑day treat at the Salty Dog Café. Hamburgers, hot dogs, and French fries hit the spot. After lunch, we found a quiet nook with two comfy chairs overlooking the SeaWalk and the sweeping vistas of Costa Maya and the open sea. Once we’d soaked in the views, we headed over to the pool for some relaxing afternoon pool time. After unwinding in the sun, we returned to our stateroom to freshen up for dinner. Tonight’s dinner was a casual and delicious stop at Alfredo’s Pizzeria, included with our Princess Plus package. After a fun casual meal with friends, we enjoyed lively Irish pub music at O’Malley’s before ending the night with some laughs at the late‑night comedy show in the Vista Lounge. When we finally returned to our room, we were greeted with a thoughtful handwritten note from our room attendant—a perfect ending to a relaxing and memorable day at sea.
