NON Official Home Test from Germany (optional for peace of mind / excellent for 2.99 EUR)

This test does NOT count as an official test for travel since not monitored so make sure if you are using a test for travel it is a MONITORED test that sends you an official email afterwards. The test off the shelf at the local drug store does NOT work - order one through the cruise line or via eMed that is MONITORED. However, having a backup home test that is not monitored for peace of mind is something I keep with me on trips (and this one is German so not recognized by the FDA - just for my own peace of mind).
