https://www.retirementtravelers.com Our next early retirement travel stop during our freedom years was also our 50th state, North Dakota. We take you on a 350 mile adventure across the state as we joined the Best for Last Club in Fargo ND by making North Dakota our 50th state visited and show you other things to do in North Dakota. We visited Theodore Roosevelt National Park in Medora, ND, although we still like to call it Teddy Roosevelt National Park. Did you know the Teddy Bear was named after him? While visiting some North Dakota attractions in Medora, we went to the Pitchfork Steak Fondue and Musical. Both of these were wonderful events and highly recommended. After Medora and the National Park we drove to the Enchanted Highway. It is a 32-mile stretch of country road to Regent, ND with 8 large metal sculptures created by folk artist Gary Greff. It is definitely worth the detour. We made stops in Center, which is the geographic center of North America and Jamestown to see a Frontier Village and a giant buffalo. Our final stop was to collect of Best for Last Club T-Shirts in Fargo, ND at the Fargo-Moorhead Visitor Center. Consider subscribing to our Retirement Travelers channel for more ideas on what to do in retirement as we plan to travel the world for the next 10 years as travel vloggers. We will show you where to travel in 2022. #retirementtravelers #travelvlogger #retirement #worldtravel #retirementearly #worldtravelvlog #thisisourretirement #northdakota #nd #medora #all50states Get a pair of ALLBIRDS, our absolute favorite travel shoes. โClick my link for a free pair of socks with your purchase of shoes or apparel. But, that is what we did! We work hard every day to become better and create something that others will enjoy. Having a community of friends, old and new, follow our journey is fun and exciting to us. In 2019, we achieved our goal of visiting every state in the union in our Airstream. We also visited every national park in the lower 48. We are big believers in lists, so of course we plan to see the remaining 12 parks in the next few years. In 2021, we made the big decision to extreme downsize to just a suitcase and a small backpack, each. We started our journey around the world beginning in Central America. We hope that over the next ten years, we will have seen many beautiful things, made many memories and new friends, and shared the experience with our children and grandchildren. We hope you enjoy the journey with us. Drop us a note in the comments and be sure to hit subscribe! ๐บ ๐ฅ ๐ฎ
