It's the smallest cabin I've ever stayed in, but absolutely functional.
Could I sail in this stateroom for a week? Probably not.

94 square feet! In any other context, that’s a walk-in closet. On the brand-new Norwegian Luna, it’s marketed as a "Solo Studio" sanctuary. But after living in Category T1 for my recent sailing, I realized there is a very fine line between "brilliantly efficient" and "I need to get out of here." As a travel agency owner and occasional solo cruiser, I’m skipping the generic "room tour" to give you the logistical reality check you need before booking a "Solo Studio" cabin: • The 7-Day Threshold: Why this cabin is a 10/10 for a 4-day Bahamas sprint, but might earn a lower score on a 7-night Caribbean itinerary. • The Studio Lounge Factor: Is the private keycard access to Decks 12 & 13 the "secret weapon" that makes the small room bearable? I stayed in Cabin 12567, which is the very first stateroom you encounter upon entering the Studio section on Deck 12. As a professional planner, I look at "High-Traffic Zones." • The Pro: You are mere steps from the entrance to the Studios section and Lounge. If you value quick access to that espresso machine or the social hub, this is a prime "Category 1T" location. • The Con: Because you are the "first door in," you will hear every single person entering the Studio keycard-access door. If you are a light sleeper, you might want to look closer to the middle of the corridor (like 12575 or 12580) to avoid the "magnetic click" of that heavy fire door. At Outer Rim Travels, we believe the best vacation starts with the right floor plan. If you’re trying to decide if a Solo Studio, Solo Inside, or Solo Balcony is the right ROI for your next NCL voyage, please feel free to reach out and use my expertise to avoid the "closet" trap. 👉 https://outerrimtravels.com 📧 email@outerrimtravels.com ✨ JOIN THE COMMUNITY Subscribe for weekly dispatches from Orlando and the high seas.
