"Oceana" & "Aurora" departing from Southampton - 03/01/2018

Wednesday 3rd January 2018 also saw two P&O Cruises' ships in Southampton having completed their own 5-day New Year cruises. The ships in question were "Aurora" and "Oceana" and were both heading off to warmer climates. "Aurora" was the first to get underway from the Mayflower Cruise Terminal at 18:11pm and received a (rather dull I have to say) fireworks display which allowed "Oceana" to slip her moorings from the Queen Elizabeth II Cruise Terminal and move away at 18:21. She reversed around and turned off the Dock Head before heading off on her 35-night cruise to the Caribbean. "Aurora" then followed her down starting her 65-night cruise to South America.
