Another busy afternoon and evening at Southampton Docks with the departures of five cruise ships - three were in on turnarounds between cruises whilst the other two were calling in during cruises. The first ship to get underway was P&O Cruises' "Oceana" from the 'Mayflower' Terminal at 16:39 heading for Le Havre. She was followed out by Princess Cruises' "Caribbean Princess" from the 'QEII' Terminal & Cunard's "Queen Victoria" from the 'Ocean' Terminal at 17:08 heading for St. Peter Port, Guernsey & La Corunna respectively. This was "Caribbean Princess'" penultimate call into Southampton before she heads back to America on August 28th. She will not return in 2014 as her cruises will be operated by "Ruby Princess" instead. After the departures of the three turnarounds, the next ship to set sail was Azamara Club Cruises' "Azamara Quest" from the 'City' Terminal. She was due to sail at 18:00 but was delayed and departed at 18:22. She swung around to starboard once she'd moved far enough out from the dock before sailing off - also heading for St. Peter Port. This was "Azamara Quest's" second & last visit to Southampton in 2013. Her sister/fleetmate "Azamara Journey" will visit during 2014. Last but not least was AIDA's new-build "AIDAstella" from Berth 104 at 20:07 heading for Invergordon. This was "AIDAstella's" final call into Southampton in 2013 having made one visit each month since her Maiden Voyage call in March. She will make a return in 2014. Viewed from Town Quay.
