OCEANA out of service sails from Southampton to Dover Horn Exchange - 'AURORA' & 'VENTURA' 18/03/20

Today Wednesday the 18th March 2020 I witnessed a very sad sailing from the Mayflower Cruise Terminal in Southampton of the P&O Cruise Ship 'Oceana' as due to the current cruise industry situation the world is in at the moment she and other cruise ships from other cruise lines are being taken out of service for a while and being berthed in a number of ports around the world. The 'Oceana' is being sent to the port of Dover to be layed up until further notice, she left the Cruise Terminal at about 17:20pm and as she was passing 'Aurora' in the City Cruise Terminal they both gave a grand farewell exchange of a horn salute along with Ventura that was in the Ocean Cruise Terminal. The 'Aurora' will also be taken out of service and sent to Dover on the 19th March to lay up until further notice.
