The Crown & Anchor Society has grown into the largest and strongest loyalty program in the cruise industry. One of the main events of each sailing for the program is the Top Tier Event, also sometimes referred to as the Welcome Back Reception. On the Odyssey of the Seas' April 9th 8 Night Southern Caribbean Sailing this event took place on the morning of April 11th in the Royal Theater. Welcoming guests to the venue with drinks and a live performance by the ship's house band some officers were present but the usual lines of greetings were missing likely due to covid restrictions. The event then began with Cruise Director Mitch Merucci saying a few words to the guests including mentioning that Captain Sindre would not be able to attend due to preparations being made for a medical evacuation alter in the day. He then brought out members of the Royal Theater singers to perform a series of songs. The Food and Beverage Director was then introduced to celebrate his birthday on stage. Finally the Loyalty Ambassador, Alan Ruiz, came out to recognize some of the highest ranking Crown & Anchor members onboard.
