Olden, Norway stole our hearts. In this video, we walk from the cruise port and explore Olden on foot, with no excursion planned for the day. We wanted to save the bigger excursions for future visits, but this simple walk through town turned into one of our favorite days in Norway. We saw beautiful mountain views, clear streams, colorful scenery, local shops, Olden New Church, and Olden Old Church. We also had a funny mix-up between Apple Maps and Google Maps while trying to find the historic white church. Olden is one of those cruise ports where you do not need to spend a lot of money to have an unforgettable day. Sometimes just walking from the ship and seeing what you find is enough. We will be back in Olden two more times during this Europe cruise, so this is only Part 1 of our Olden adventures. Thanks for traveling with us!
