ORIENT EXPRESS CORINTHIAN under construction at Chantiers de l'Atlantique, Saint Nazaire, France, for the Accor Group. Two ships - ORIENT EXPRESS CORINTHIAN (IMO 1050193) and ORIENT EXPRESS OLYMPIAN (IMO 1050208) - are intended to continue the tradition of the famous Orient Express trains, will each be 220 meters long. On board there will be 54 suites each with an average size of 70 square meters, including a monumental 1,415 square meter presidential suite, two swimming pools, including a sports pool, two restaurants and a speakeasy bar. Each ship will be powered by three SolidSail rigs, a revolutionary 1,500 square meter unit wind propulsion system, combined with a hybrid propulsion system powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG). The Accor Group will enter the luxury cruise market with these ships.
