Our Ibis Budget Hotel Nightmare at Manchester Airport

In this video we share our honest experience staying one night at the Ibis Budget Hotel at Manchester Airport Terminal 2. The hotel is often described as "brand new", but we discovered it has actually been open for around 3 years. We were expecting a typical hotel room but instead found a very small space, barely bigger than a broom cupboard, with twin beds pushed together and one against the wall which made access quite difficult. We also found there were no bedside tables, very limited storage, and only a small shelf above the bed suitable for small items like a mobile phone. Sitting up in bed was uncomfortable due to plug sockets positioned directly behind the pillows. Only three hangers were provided and there was no real storage space for luggage or equipment. During the night, a charger placed on the upper shelf fell and hit my nose, and medical equipment had to be placed on the floor which could present a hazard for anyone needing to get up during the night. In this video we provide a guided tour of the room and highlight the issues we personally experienced. We want to emphasise this is simply our honest opinion based on our stay.
