Our Most FRUSTRATING Day on Marella Discovery!

Today on Marella Discovery, we’re in Kusadasi, Turkey! We look at the best ways to visit Ephesus from the port - whether you go it alone or book an excursion with Marella Cruises. (Vlog #6) It’s Day 6 of our Aegean Jewels cruise on Marella Discovery, and today we’re docked in the beautiful port of Kusadasi, Turkey - the gateway to the ancient city of Ephesus. We explore the different ways to reach Ephesus from the port, including both budget-friendly options and ship excursions. Once back onboard Marella Discovery, we take part in yet another quiz, then relax on the pool deck, soaking up the lively atmosphere with Marella Cruises’ live entertainment. Later, we freshen up in our outside cabin before heading back up to the pool deck for the sail away party and BBQ, featuring another fantastic performance from Amie & The Collective! With the wind picking up outside, we move indoors for an evening packed with entertainment, starting with a live performance in the Atrium. Dinner tonight is at Gallery 47 Degrees, the ship’s included Italian restaurant, but how does it compare to the other dining options onboard? Later, we check out the UK vs World Under the Stars Silent Disco - but was it worth it? Instead of the late-night Lee Evans tribute show in the theatre, we opt for a chilled evening enjoying live music in the Atrium and Live Room, featuring Sam the Pianist and The Collective, with additional performances from some of the theatre show cast! Before calling it a night, we take a quick look inside Bar Eleven, the ship’s nightclub, before heading to The Glass House for some late-night snacks, available until 1.00am!
