Today we are discussing our TOP 5 things we enjoyed on Royal Caribbean’s Independence of the Seas and why these selections make our TOP 5! We sailed on Independence in November of 2019 on a 7 night Western Caribbean cruise! This itinerary included a stop at Falmouth Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Labadee Haiti, and Cozumel Mexico! At the time of this sailing we departed from Port Everglades (Fort Lauderdale in Florida)! Independence of the Seas is part of Royal Caribbean’s Freedom ship class and was actually the first ship to ever receive the Royal Amplification process! If you have seen our other sailings on amplified voyager class ships, Independence has a very similar design and layout! Because of these similarities, there may be some surprises on this list of things that are somewhat common, but that we happened to enjoy on this sailing! However, there are some key differences with Independence, some of which we will be pointing out today!
