"Ovation of the Seas" maiden arrival into Southampton - 10/04/2016
YouTube Video Descriptionβ
Sunday 10th April 2016 marks 104 years since the ill-fated White Star Line's "Titanic" departed on her one and only voyage. It also saw the arrival of the first of two brand-new cruise ships for Royal Caribbean International. The ship was "Ovation of the Seas" - the third of the Quantum-class vessels and after her a few maiden cruises from Southampton during April and May, she will relocate to China. The second brand-new ship will be the third Oasis-class ship: "Harmony of the Seas" which will be arriving later in May. Additionally, Southampton's regular RCI ships will be the very popular "Independence of the Seas" along with "Navigator of the Seas". In this video we see "Ovation of the Seas" sailing into Southampton and passing the Town Quay heading for the 'City' Cruise Terminal at Berth 101. Strangely though she had no big welcome which her previous two sister ships had.
