Ovation of the Seas sailing through scenic Doubtful Sound and Dusky Sound of New Zealand

Ovation of the Seas sailed out of Milford Sound and travelled in a southerly direction in ever more stormy seas to the next two fjordland Doubtful and Dusky Sounds in the south of New Zealand. Each time we entered the sounds the waves calmed their ferociousness and we seemed to glide through the sounds with some occasional wind gusts depending on the direction of the wind. The magnificent scenery changed constantly and was surely a delight for everyone enjoying these natural settings formed during the glacial periods of the last Ice Ages. This voyage pertains to the sailing out of Sydney on 29th October 2022.
