What to pack for a cruise. How to pack. Need a few packing Tips for your first cruise? Today we look at a great deal on packing cubes. Packing cubes will help you to be efficient and organized when packing for a cruise. Hey Cruisers, it’s Sheri with CruiseTipsTV with a packing quick tip! We recently did an episode on packing cubes, and if you’re saying “what’s a packing cube”, go check out that episode, http://youtu.be/VvAL_hvcrpI and come back here for this tip. Or, I can just tell you - a packing cube is a small, typically square zippered bag used to help keep your clothes and other packed items separated and easy to find in your suitcase. We are totally sold on them. After our review, one of our favorite subscribers let us know that Ikea carries their own brand of packing cubes, and they are a terrific value. They’re call Upptäcka, Ooptecka, Uptanka??? Forget it, let’s ask our Swedish translator…. Hi it’s Rebecca.... Phew, thanks Rebecca. Anyhow, We found ourselves passing by an Ikea so we stopped in to quickly grab one. We got our packing cubes, and they’re pink- although some stores also sell them in blue! We also learned a lesson. Never, ever plan a *quick* shopping stop at Ikea. It can’t be done. Especially with a 5 year old. So, bottom line; this is a great set. We picked this up for the small price of $6.99, and the set contains 4 bags. The largest of the 4 bags has a unique zippered, 2nd compartment on the back side which we’ve never seen with a packing cube before. The second bag is a medium sized cube, perfect for tshirts, shorts, and swimsuits. The third bag is for shoes, and the 4th bag is a tiny holder for whatever you can squeeze into this little guy- maybe socks, accessories or toiletries. If this looks like something you’d like, and you’re close to an Ikea, and you have two or more hours to kill … then pick a set up. Big thanks to all of our subscribers, and especially TheJokerspeaks for sending us this tip. And of course, special thanks to our official Swedish translator, Rebecca. That’s it for this episode. Thank you so much for watching and subscribing. If you like this video, please remember to hit that like button. Until next time, we’ll see you on the high seas!
