Paddle Steamer - PS Waverley Southampton for Coastal Cruise 9/9/17

An annual return of - Paddle Steamer Waverley (Waverley Excursions) arrived in Southampton late on the 8th of Sept 2017 from Weymouth after making her way down from her homeport of Glasgow in Scotland ready for another few coastal cruises out of Southampton starting with her first departure at 10:00am on the 9th of Sept 2017 for a coastal cruise from berth 48 assisted by small tug Wyepush from Itchen Marine. The lighting conditions were not exactly ideal for filming due to the sun being very bright with no cloud cover and almost beaming straight into the lens of the camera so you will notice some parts of the video seem to be slightly dark. The Paddle Steamer is celebrating it's 70th year this year since it was built in 1947, and she is the last of these sea going paddle steamers, she is still going strong for an old gal and is a welcomed sight in these waters again.
