YouTube Video Descriptionโ
This is Peles Castle in Romania. Nestled amongst the Carpathian Mountains, it is stunning. Many rooms are decorated with motifs from surrounding countries, such as the Moors Hal (Spain) and the Turkish Salon. Most of the inside and architecture is German with dark woods enhanced by Swiss stained glass and Venetian Murano glass. It is fascinating and feels like a summer home, which it was for Carol I and Elisabeth I of Romania.
