YouTube Video Descriptionβ
Penguins of Antarctica! After spending a bit of time in Antarctica, we fell in love with Penguins. We couldn't get enough of them, so please enjoy some of the footage we took of these beautiful, playful, and entertaining penguins. Watch them hop around, play in the water, and socialise with each other. One thing you canβt experience on the video is the terrible smell, truly nasty and it gets into your clothing when you spend too much time watching these delightful penguins, but its a small price to pay in my books! There are 17 different species of penguins in the world, however only 7 are commonly found on the white continent of Antarctica. These being the following. Chinstrap Penguin - Its name comes from the narrow black band under its head and itβs the most common penguin found in Antarctica Adelie Penguin - The second most common penguin found in Antarctica Emperor Penguin - The biggest of all Penguins Macaroni Penguin - They have very cute bright, spiky orange eyebrows Rockhopper Penguin - Also have orange eyebrows King Penguin - Slightly smaller and with similar looks of the Emperor penguin Gentoo Penguin - The fastest swimmers of all penguins in Antarctica, reach speeds up to 22 miles an hour.
