Wow, what a perfect day!!! We are at the new and improved 'Perfect Day at CocoCay', Royal Caribbean's private island destination! CocoCay was completely reimagined and received a major renovation which was completed early May 2019! We visited Perfect Day at CocoCay during it's first 2 weeks of opening on our 3 night Bahamian Navigator of the Seas sailing. This is our first time seeing the new improvements and we were blown away! The newly designed island is set up into two main areas, "Chill" and "Thrill"! The 'Chill Island' area includes locations such as 'Oasis Lagoon' which is now the Caribbean's largest fresh water pool! In this area you are also able to access the old snorkeling beaches as well as a new 'Harbor Beach' which is a salt water lagoon and lounging area! Then when you venture over to the "Thrill" side of the island, you will be able to find adrenaline pumping activities such as Zip Lining and of course 'Thrill Waterpark'! We purchased a full day 'Thrill Waterpark' pass which included attractions such as 'Daredevil's Tower' (7 slides of varying intensities) Splash Summit (3 unique slide types), Wave Pool, and Adventure Pool (aquatic obstacle course style pool)! It was a blast and we hope you find our slide POVs helpful and fun! If you have little ones, there are some kid specific water fun for them including 'Splash Away Bay' (an interactive splash pad and slide area) as well as 'Captain Jill's Galleon' (a pirate ship themed water attraction)! Another major new attraction we took part in was the 'Up Up & Away Helium Balloon'! We went 200 ft in the air (sometimes 450 ft but our day was too windy) on a tethered helium ballon which gave an unimaginably gorgeous view of the island and ocean! We also checked out some new food locations such as 'Captain Jack's', 'Snack Shack', and 'Skipper's Grill'! We were throughly impressed with these new additions at Perfect Day at CocoCay and we can't wait to go back! We hope this video is helpful and if you have any questions please leave a comment!
