We have one day to explore Pigeon Forge and Sevierville before heading to Smokey Mountain National Park... what to do??? There are SO MANY options in this area, it can get overwhelming! We visited last summer and did a lot, so we wanted to find something new. If you are looking for ideas, just drive up and down the main road and you will see tons of options! We started our day at SkyLand Ranch which was better than it even looked! First off, we rode the mountain coaster (which was more fun than the one we rode last year), then we took the skylift up to the top of the mountain where there was a lot to do! They had live music, yummy food options, shops, family activities and even a petting zoo! What a great way to spend the day! Next up we made a quick stop in the very impressive outdoor outlet mall for some light shopping then made our way to our campground. This is our second time staying at Riveredge and we love the location! Right on the main road in Pigeon Forge but all the way down on the quiet end. Unfortunately, here, the weather turned against us and it absolutely poured rain! We had a yummy dinner at Alamo Steakhouse but weren't really able to do much else on our day here.
