We start our day in Barbados aboard P&O Arvia, waking up to a stunning balcony view as the ship docks in port. Before heading ashore, we enjoy a full buffet breakfast on P&O Arvia and take the opportunity to explore the ship early in the morning, including a walk around the top decks while they’re quiet. After disembarking in the Port of Barbados, we take a look around the cruise port before jumping into a shared taxi to The Boatyard, which costs $5 per person for the short journey. Entry to The Boatyard Barbados costs $40 per person, and this includes a sunbed each with one umbrella between two beds, use of all facilities, a free cocktail, and a complimentary snorkelling boat trip. During the snorkelling trip from The Boatyard, David and Harry were lucky enough to see a turtle, a stingray, a tarpon, and plenty of other fish. The Boatyard is one of the most talked-about beach clubs in Barbados, with very mixed reviews...some people compare it to Butlin’s, while others say it’s nothing like it at all. We share our honest experience so you can decide whether The Boatyard is worth visiting on a Barbados cruise stop. After returning to P&O Arvia, we spend some time exploring the onboard shops before heading to the main dining room for dinner, which was absolutely fabulous. We finish the day with more shopping and drinks in the Keel & Cow, rounding off a full cruise day in Barbados. This video shows what a day in Barbados on P&O Arvia is really like, combining ship exploration, a popular beach club visit, and a relaxed evening back on board...perfect if you’re planning a P&O Cruises Caribbean itinerary or wondering what to do in Barbados on a cruise. 0:00 Introduction 01:30 Buffet Breakfast 02:40 Exploring the ship 06:45 Barbados port 07:38 The Boatyard 10:00 Shopping onboard Arvia 11:09 Main Dining Room Dinner 14:00 More shopping & drinks 15:30 Days round-up 18:50 Coming-up
