Creator's Key Takeaways

Definitely worth a walk about, especially if you're coming on Saturday.

I think it's quite a cute little town. If you came on a weekday on a Saturday, it's bustling and it makes quite a big difference.

It's a small but very nice and functional bathroom. I think we're going to be perfectly fine here for a week.

Absolutely delicious. It's all really delicious. We're going to try this one. We think the British Retro Trio.

Creator's Tips & Advice

βœ“If visiting Haugesund on a Sunday, be aware many shops may be closed; visiting on a Saturday is better for a bustling atmosphere.
βœ“When booking an inside cabin, consider the bed configuration to avoid Pullman beds if you prefer a standard double bed setup.
βœ“Look for the hidden plug sockets in the corner of the cabin for extra charging options.

πŸ‘‰ https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL9mYfIMTsl4RnyWCs_L-xHpDXNKkDfqiX&si=S9CGpb12QGmHURVq Join us on our P&O Britannia Cruise Vlog 2025 as we visit Haugesund, Norway, one of the lesser-known ports on a Norwegian fjords cruise. After a relaxing main dining room breakfast, we spend a couple of hours exploring Haugesund town centre, taking in the harbour views and coastal charm. This is a relaxed port day with no excursions, just wandering, sightseeing, and soaking up the atmosphere. We were here on a Sunday, so unfortunately a lot of the town was closed, but we did find a lovely place to enjoy an iced coffee by the waters edge. Back on board P&O Britannia, we enjoy a casual poolside lunch with snacks and sunshine before getting ready for dinner at The Glass House, where we try tapas and a wine flight. We also enjoy a lovely sail away here, whilst drinking another glass of wine! We then enjoy a lovely evenings entertainment onboard. We finish the vlog with a tour of our inside cabin/stateroom. If you fancy a nosy at what P&O Britannia inside cabin (stateroom) is like, we add this at the end of our vlog. If you’re researching P&O Cruises, Norwegian Fjords itineraries, or wondering β€œIs Haugesund worth visiting?”, this vlog will give you an honest look at what to expect from a port day in Norway aboard P&O Britannia. πŸ•’ Timestamps 00:00 Introduction 00:40 Main Dining Room Breakfast 01:00 Haugesund 06:26 Poolside food 07:18 The Glass House 12:21 Evening entertainment 12:55 Coming up next 13.27 Inside Cabin Tour Footage of our exact route into Haugesund uploaded from The Cruise Globe.....go check out their site, its amazing! #CruiseVlog #POBritannia #POCruises #Haugesund #NorwayCruise #NorwegianFjords #CruiseLife #CruiseFood #TheGlassHouse #TravelVlog #CruiseVlog2025 #CruiseDining #CruiseTips #HaugesundNorway #POBritanniaVlog
