This is the third vlog of our P&O Cruises Aurora series. We were onboard for the New Year 2024 celebration cruise. There had been some damage to Aurora from the previous cruise, resulting in a delayed embarkation, which you can find out about in the earlier videos in this series. On day 3 we arrive in our first port, which is Hamburg where we docked overnight to enjoy the New Year fireworks. We also saw a great performance from the Bluejays in the Curzon Theatre and enjoyed the disco in Masquerade until the early hours of the morning. We joined P&O Cruises Aurora on on Friday 29th December 2023 for it's New Year cruise. This cruise visited Hamburg and Zeebrugge which is the port for Bruges. Aurora is the smallest and oldest ship in the P&O fleet, she entered service in the year 2000 and is able to carry a maximum of 1950 passengers across 10 decks.
