P&O Cruises Oriana | delayed departure from Southampton for Cartagena 24/10/18

A passenger was taken ill on board the P&O Cruise Ship "Oriana" today the 24th Oct 2018 just as the mooring ropes were being cast off so resulted in the "Oriana" being delayed for just over an hour she finally sailed from Southamptons Mayflower Cruise Terminal at just before 17:45pm for Cartagena in Spain she is away for an 18 Night Cruise to Spain, Malta & Italy. But her departure was short lived because she only got as far as the Nab Tower which is situated just off of the Isle of Wight when she had to turn around and head back into Southampton again and so berthed alongside the Queen Elizabeth II Cruise Terminal at about 22:00pm Her reason why she had to return quickly was soon to be revealed because there was another passenger who was suddenly taken ill. After spending nearly two hours alongside the Queen Elizabeth Cruise Terminal she managed to depart once again just before midnight so hopefully all is well this time for her cruise.
