All P&O Cruises holidays are full board, with the fare inclusive of breakfast, lunch, and dinner; which includes snacks, 24 hour buffets, pizzerias, daytime grills, deck barbecues, and informal poolside restaurants. The onboard specialty restaurants are highly recommended at a modest cover charge. There are three different types of dining options on a P&O Cruises holiday; Specialty Dining, Freedom dining, or Club Dining. These are both included in your cruise fare. Basically if you want to have a traditional, cruise dining experience you should opt for Club dining on P&O Cruises. Club Dining is where you can eat with new found friends and have set dining times each night. This is a tried and tested way to make new friends onboard, friends whom you can get to know more each night as you’ll be sat with them throughout the cruise, at your chosen seating time of either 6.30pm or 8.30pm. You will also get the same waiters and table each night. Freedom Dining is available onboard Azura, Oceana, Ventura, Arcadia, Oriana, and Aurora. This is where you can enjoy the same setting, but with the freedom to turn up at a selected restaurant any time between 6pm or 9.30pm. For myself, I don’t always like to eat at the same time every night, which is why I prefer freedom dining. You can simply turn up and ask to be seated - as long as you arrive within the hours mentioned. P&O Cruises’ cabins are spacious, well designed, and air conditioned to ensure great levels of comfort throughout your cruise. You will find Egyptian cotton sheets, tea and coffee making facilities, a hair dryer, safe, and even a refrigerator inside your cabin.
