Hi everyone, In this week's P&O Iona Norwegian Fjords cruise series we arrive into #haugesund . We start the day with a quick light breakfast at Taste 360 and then disembark the ship ready to explore our first ever port in Norway. We have a wander/ hike towards the Rising Tide statues. It’s a very picturesque walk with plenty of beautiful scenery, a park and even goats! I was very happy about the goats especially! After the long walk we treat ourselves to possibly our most expensive beer ever at Dock one close to the cruise ship. So well deserved though. We then make our way back to Iona and get a quick lunch at Taste 360 and relax at the adults only section of the ship, the Beachcomber. We realise we have got burnt in Norway at about 13 degrees at this point we couldn’t believe it! After a while we decide it’s time to get ready for the evening! Tonight we were having our meal in one of the main dining rooms (MDR) the Pearl Restaurant. We had such a great table and the food, drinks and service were all fantastic! This was one of our favourite meals on board. After the meal we had a wine at The Glass House and then went to Headliners to watch King Jamsheed. He was incredible! So talented and so much fun! He really got the audience involved and it made for such a fantastic show, we loved this so much! Definitely watch him if he is on your sailing. Following this we watched the comedian onboard Phil Melbourne, he was ok but a bit hit and miss, we still enjoyed the evening though. Comedy is subjective though so you may find him really funny. We finished the night with late night buffet at Horizon and the selection was amazing tonight, we had so much and could have had more haha! After this we called it a night and headed back to the cabin ready for a day in Olden the next day. We can't wait to share more cruise vlogs with you!
