P&O Iona | Olden | Norwegian Fjords Cruise 2026 | Scenic Sailing | Best Meal at The Glass House

Hi everyone, In this week's video we start the day very early at 4:30am sailing down the Nordfjord as we make our way towards Olden. It was so stunning and picturesque as we sailed in and I'm really glad we got up early to admire this with a cup of tea to warm us up as it was freezing! After a few hours on the balcony we pay a visit to the gym on board to do a work out before we continued with the day. We had a good breakfast in Horizon which filled us up and set us up for the adventures ahead. We had originally planned to do the Loen Skylift but after checking the weather we had decided not to book this as we didn't think we would be able to see much due to the clouds. Instead when we arrived into #olden we had a little look around the port area, got some photos of the ship and decided to do the land train. This ended up being brilliant and the views were stunning. We've never seen so many waterfalls and beautiful scenery, it really is something you need to see for yourself. The trip was just over an hour and then we had another wander ourselves, took some photos with the incredible views and went to a local pub, Mølla Gjestehus, for a draft beer from the Olden Brewery. When we got back on the ship we had our lunch and a wine at The Glass House. We shared the trio of beef and chicken and it was amazing. Definitely one of, if not The best thing we ate on board. We would definitely recommend and definitely would eat there again. The service was also fantastic from Fabian. We then went back to the cabin for a nap as we had been up so early this morning. We were awoken by some music and we realised it was coming from the Olden pub we had been in earlier and they were waving flags and giving us a proper send off. Lots of fun songs and it was great to see everyone joining in! It was then time to get ready for the evening and we had food at The Quays, it's such a great option when you want something quick but don't want to go to the buffet. After a great meal we went to the SkyDome for the Silent Disco. This was so much fun, both channels were amazing and we had a great sing along and dance around! We do love a silent disco! We even found the Iona deck chair and had some photos in it, it was difficult to get back out though! As the Silent Disco and Pulse clashed today we left the silent disco earlier than we would have wanted but it was 80s night in the Clubhouse so we didn't want to miss this. Pule were brilliant again, we enjoyed every performance with them. We then thought it would be a good time to try some cocktails at the Emerald Bar in the atrium. As we didn't have the drinks package we felt like we could actually get them this time. They were fantastic, very novel and actually tasted great as well as looking great for photos. We went to Brodie's after a couple ehre to c=see the last of the England world cup match and then finished the night in our usual style at the late night buffet! Today was fantastic at the port and on the ship, we loved this day! We can't wait to share more cruise vlogs with you!
