YouTube Video Description↓

http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com Linda Woods from Ireland Walk, Hike Bike with South West Walks Ireland drove us into Killarney National Park for a day's hike which began on the grounds of historic Muckross House & Gardens. This magnificent 65-room Victorian mansion was built in 1843 for Henry Arthur Herbert and wife and is Ireland's second most popular visitor attraction; number one is Trinity College in Dublin. Several owners later, a wealthy Californian bought Muckross House as a wedding gift for his daughter. When daughter Maud died in an accident, Muckross Estate was given to the state for use as Killarney National Park. We just admired from the outside and then began hiking one of the trails.
