Today definitely didn’t go to plan… We should have been exploring La Palma in the Canary Islands, but due to heavy winds and rough swells, Marella Voyager was unfortunately unable to dock. After getting so close to shore, we ended up with a completely unexpected sea day instead! At first, we were really disappointed, but we decided to make the most of it and enjoy another day on board. The weather was a little chilly at times, but that didn’t stop us from carrying on exploring the ship… and of course eating and drinking our way around Marella Voyager! 🍹🍔 In this vlog, we spend the day relaxing around the ship, trying more food and cocktails, and checking out even more onboard venues. In the evening, we head to The Arts House for pre-drinks before making our way to Piccadilly’s for dinner. We also watch one of the BEST theatre productions we’ve seen on a cruise so far ...a Broadway-style show with absolutely incredible singers and performers. To finish the night, we head to Squid & Anchor for Battle of the Bands, where musicians and performers from all around the ship come together on one stage. The atmosphere was amazing and the dance floor was absolutely packed!
