For our recent cruise we travelled the previous day to Southampton and stayed in The Premier Inn West Quay. This was our first time staying here but we have stayed in plenty of Premier Inn hotels before and like this chain. We booked a double room, unfortunately we did experience an issue with the first room we were allocated and were able to be moved. For those wishing to dine here, either at the time of booking or on arrival you can add breakfast and evening meal at an extra charge. These are served in the hotels Thyme restaurant. We had a comfortable nights sleep however did find a few imperfections which let the hotel and brand down. Here is a quick tour of our room and public areas at the hotel. Sadly our experience on this occasion wasn’t the best and we wouldn’t be in a hurry to book again.
