Celebrating our anniversary at sea with one of my favorite experiences on Princess Cruises — the Ultimate Balcony Dinner. This is an optional, extra-charge experience, but it is absolutely worth it for a special occasion… or honestly, just because you want an unforgettable night at sea. We may have done this one a little differently than most… after a late afternoon nap, we woke up at 5:51 PM for our 6:00 PM dinner, threw on the robes, and made it just in time for one of the most relaxing and memorable meals we’ve ever had. Sometimes cruise life means keeping it real — and robes on the balcony totally count! As if the private dinner, ocean views, and incredible service weren’t enough, a rainbow appeared during dinner, making the night even more special.
