Quantum of the Seas: RoboShow - Perspective

The Quantum of the Seas features a first of it's kind performance in Two70º known as RoboShows. Featuring 6 robots each manipulating 100 inch 4K displays they are able to put on a show like no normal theater can. By manipulating both the camera and the screen they can take advantage of perspective and movements to bring in a sense of realism and story telling that even 3D can't come close to achieving. Currently there are two shows in full production with an additional 2 in early testing. A team of specialists are currently working around the clock to tighten the existing shows and bring new ones onboard. Each show must be programmed through Maya to get the robot movements just right while a separate individual must work to align the graphics on each screen with the movements. Only when both come in perfect alignment do things shine.
