QUEEN ANNE & QUEEN MARY 2 EPIC HORN BATTLE ON DEPARTURE SOUTHAMPTON 26/09/25

Cunard's 'Queen Anne' & the 'Queen Mary' departures from Southampton on Friday 26/09/25 with a great sounding of ship horns. The 'Queen Anne' was first out of Ocean Dock to start her journey to Norway just after 16:30pm when she had trouble in sounding her horn at first but soon found her voice as she began to pass 'Queen Mary 2' then they both gave a decent horn salute with each other. The 'Queen Mary 2' had a slight delay in making her departure from the Queen Elizabeth II cruise Terminal she was booked to depart at 18:00pm but instead started to depart just after 19:20pm to head for New York which is her first calling port on her transatlantic crossing, she will be away for almost a full month before returning back to Southampton.
