Queen Elizabeth passing Calshot outbound on Maiden Voyage

Queen Elizabeth on her maiden voyage to Canary Isles passing by Calshot at about 5:50pm on a nice evening with a glorious sunset there was a large flotilla of small ships escorting the Queen Elizabeth on her way down Southampton Water in the video you will see the S.S. Shieldhall and The Paddle Steamer Waverley also acting as escort. The crowd watching from the shoreline at calshot was huge all parking space was taken and took nearly half an hour getting out of the parking area to head to for home. Queen Elizabeth will be back in our waters in two weeks time so please enjoy watching as I did being there.
