"Queen Victoria" 'Fjords & Waterfalls II' Cruise - Day 3 (Stavanger) 15/07/2012

The third day of our cruise to the Norwegian Fjords aboard the Cunard cruise liner MS "Queen Victoria" from Friday 13th to Saturday 21st July 2012. Sunday 15th July saw us visit our first Port of Call in Norway: Stavanger. We first take a look at the city from our cabin balcony and from the top deck of the ship. "Queen Victoria" was also joined in Stavanger by P&O Cruises's "Arcadia" on her last Port of Call before returning to Southampton. After disembarking the ship, we take a look at the harbour before moving around the front and up towards the Cathedral and Park. We finish our walking tour by taking a brief look at the old houses situated next to where "Queen Victoria" was berthed, Early evening, we cast off our moorings and depart Stavanger for Flaam. "Arcadia" casts off shortly after we depart and follows us out towards the open sea. Later that evening, the ship's International Band 'Exquizit" are seen performing in The 'Queen's Room on Deck 2.
