"Queen Victoria" 'Fjords & Waterfalls II' Cruise - Day 5 (Geiranger) 17/07/2012

The fifth day of our cruise to the Norwegian Fjords aboard the Cunard cruise liner MS "Queen Victoria" from Friday 13th to Saturday 21st July 2012. Tuesday 17th July saw us in our second anchor port at Geiranger. During our visit to the small village situated right at the end of the Geiranger Fjord, we went partway up the mountain to have a look at the Octagonal Church before I went on a cruise around part of the Fjord on a wooden Viking Ship (I'm not sure if it was a replica or not) with a motor inside it. We were joined in Geiranger by "Costa Luminosa" and saw a brief visit from the Cruise Ferry "Nordkapp". Later, we leave Geiranger and pass the Severn Sisters Waterfalls on the way out. Late that evening, "Costa Luminosa" caught up with "Queen Victoria" and overtook, despite having left a while after we had done. We were only going slowly as we were heading a short distance to our next destination: the Nordfjord and Olden.
