Looking for a Seattle hotel before or after an Alaska cruise? We stayed in Room 1814 at the Renaissance Seattle Hotel after our Alaska cruise—and we were not expecting this much space! Room 1814 has a separate living and work area, a king bedroom, two incredible Seattle city views, a pullout sofa, a full-size refrigerator, a coffee and bar area, and plenty of storage. Michael takes you through the entire room, including the bathroom, adjoining-room door and a few smaller details you may want to know before booking. We also look at why the Renaissance Seattle Hotel could be a convenient option for Alaska cruise passengers. The hotel is approximately one mile from Pier 66 and roughly four miles from Pier 91. Pike Place Market is within walking distance, and the Symphony Link light rail station is only a few blocks away. You can even travel between Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and downtown Seattle for just $3 per adult.
