Resilient Lady: Corfu Greece on September 29th, 2023 (with MSC Lirica & Marella Explorer)

On September 24th Virgin Voyages' Resilient Lady set sail on a 7 night Adriatic Sea & Greek Gems Voyage around the eastern Mediterranean. Sailing round trip from Athens she made stops in various ports around Croatia, Montenegro, and Greece. This was her second to last voyage of this itinerary for the 2023 season. The final stop of the voyage came on day 6 with a return to Greece for a stop in Corfu. Sailing along the coast of Albania the Resilient Lady continued her journey south passing through bays in the narrow passageway between the mainland and islands to reach Corfu. Directly behind her was the MSC Lirica following along to make her own visit to Corfu. When Resilient Lady finally reached the port she was met by the Marella Explorer who was having a home port turn around day for her visit. As she made her way in she took a wide scenic route out and back in along the city before turning around and backing in. At the same time the MSC Lirica took the direct route and pulled in forward docking at the same moment as the Resilient Lady. In the evening the MSC Lirica departed as the sun set with the Resilient Lady departing into the darkness leaving the Marella Explorer behind just like she found her in the morning.
