If one of your cruise ports is Puerto Vallarta, you DEFINATLY have do the Rhythms Of The Nights excursion. I booked it through Carnival at the price of $175 per person and is well worth it. The excursion is approximately five hours long. The evening started with a buffet style dinner, followed by the entertainment. It has a Cirques Du Soleil vibe that's high energy with live music. You take a 45-minute scenic cruise to Las Caletas. You're going to be walking uphill and on uneven paths ways. So have your walking shoes on.
